For your peace of mind, fuel-injected engines have a very practical warning system that alerts you to any problems. If the check engine light comes on, don't worry! A simple adjustment by screwing or unscrewing will solve the problem and turn off the warning light.

My 2005 Harley Road King 1450 has 82,000 kilometers on it, and I'm happy to share that its twin-cam engine is running beautifully. I would advise you to be wary of Harley's recommendations, which might steer you towards buying a €1500 carburetor kit. Interestingly, they generally don't mention replacing the oil pump. I haven't encountered any problems with either motorcycle. Rather than paying attention to unfounded rumors, I strongly advise you to consult qualified experts to obtain reliable information and thus avoid any inconvenience.

I haven't had any problems with my Fat Bob 103 CI for several years. I still get just as much satisfaction from manually adjusting the idle speed up to 750 rpm.

The error message only appears briefly, and now all you need to do is ride to restore the optimal setting of the Potato starter.
